The integrated gas tank is filled with a customer-specific test gas, and has a capacity of approx. 1000 calibrations. Once the lower pressure limit is reached, the gas cartridge can be easily replaced.

The built-in calibration leak is made of stainless steel, and its leak rate is freely specifiable. It ensures excellent long-term stability thanks to its design featuring sintered discs, which are subjected to additional heat treatment.
No valves need to be closed on the CAL-CHECK after use. Accidental emptying of the test gas tank is prevented by a sophisticated arrangement of the control elements.


CAL-CHECK as a test device

The straightforward operation allows even inexperienced operators to use the CAL-CHECK as a test device for leak detectors in production. A push on the gas cartridge fills the calibration leak to the maximum available tank pressure. The adjustment button is used to set the desired test pressure. The certified leak rate is achieved at a pressure of 1 bar and is immediately available at the leak calibrator outlet.


Option: Multipoint calibration

For more advanced linearity tests, a diagram indicating the leakage pattern for various pressures (e. g. 1 to 4 bar) can also be provided as an option. This allows you to generate a variety of leak rates, e. g. to present the leak detector with values above and below the set alarm threshold.

This leak calibrator is an indispensable test standard for all gas leak detectors used in production or laboratories under purely atmospheric conditions. In order to comply with any existing calibration instructions, the device is delivered with an international NAMAS calibration certificate traceable to DKD.
