ISM operates a certified service centre in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 for all measuring instruments sold.
The service center takes care of all maintenance, calibration, and repair works. We will be happy to provide you with a detailed cost estimate prior to execution.
If you need to extend your testig capacities for a limited time or would like to do extensive evaluations, you can rent selected measuring instruments such as helium leak detectors, universal gas sniffers or similar equipment by prior arrangement.
When buying the equipment, the respective rent can in most cases be deducted in full from the purchase price.
For applications as well as for all measuring instruments, we offer detailed staff training on site or at our premises.
The training courses are customised to contain only the relevant content for the respective groups of persons (workers, fitters, maintenance personnel, work preparation etc.).
All ISM measuring instruments and, depending on the type/design, also third-party measuring instruments are checked with suitable, traceable test standards (e. g. gas leak calibrators, flowmeters, pressure calibrators) and, if necessary, adjusted and subjected to a functional endurance test. A calibration certificate is created automatically.
Our service technicians can also carry out repairs, maintenance and calibrations at your premises. The response times required for your needs can be agreed with us by telephone at any time. A detailed report on the work carried out will be prepared and submitted for approval.
All measuring instruments are repaired, tested and calibrated at our service base. A detailed cost estimate is provided on each repair.
As a special customer care, there is our own express transport service which picks up and returns urgent repairs within Europe.
In our test laboratory, the most diverse test specimens can be subjected to a leakage measurement prescribed by the customer using the most up-to-date methods.
This procedure also enables feasibility studies to select and validate the appropriate measuring method as well as the sporadic leak-tightness measurement of small series in which an own testing facility would be uneconomical (wage leakage testing).

After the measurement has been carried out with a suitable method, a detailed laboratory report is prepared.
