DP 3000 | Pressure Decay Leak Detector

DP3000 is the complete leakage measurement system for your quality assurance. The system (successor to the DP300) represents the current state of the art in differential pressure instruments for leakage measurement of series components during the production process. DP3000 is a PC-based system that offers menu-driven parameterization and a variety of useful options. This makes leak measurement safe, fast and simple to use.

The core of the measuring system is a control program with a comfortable user interface which runs on Windows 7, 8 and 10 compatible industrial computers. The software enables automatic control of the entire test cycle as well as communication via the integrated parallel PLC input and output ports, and serial computer interfaces.

At the same time, the DP3000 software also offers numerous options for evaluating the test results and displaying them as graphics in real time (setup mode) or as statistical parameters according to DIN-ISO. If required, all measured values can be outsourced for further processing by an ASCII-capable QA system or a spreadsheet program. The clearly arranged menu structure allows even inexperienced users to work with the DP3000.

Password protection prevents unauthorized changes to test programs which can be stored in virtually unlimited numbers on the system, and retrieved via e.g. customer-specific drawing numbers.

Innovative pneumatic modules integrate all components required for measurement. Thanks to the compact design, the modules can be accommodated directly at the test adapter, providing very low dead volume. The special valve arrangement combines all valves in a single block to avoid temperature differences. In addition to the usual hose connections, there is also a direct flange connection.

Thanks to the above-mentioned features, long pneumatic hoses influencing the readings are avoided as much as possible. Cycle times have been shown to be shortened.

A key motive for further development was the increasing number of 100% tests carried out. On the DP3000’s multi-station version, with the concept of parallel operation of up to eight pneumatic modules on one base unit leads to a significant reduction in price and space compared to individual measuring instruments (DP3000/1).
